Vice President (VP) of Marketing

About the role:

Where will Nexme's growth come from in the next year? What about over the next three to five? The Vice President (VP) of Marketing is a marketing visionary who takes responsibility for the overall marketing strategy of the company. The Vice President (VP) of Marketing will establish the messaging and positioning of our platform and develop user growth strategies in order to increase customer acquisition. The VP of Marketing is integral to our business and will align with our business goals.

Our ideal candidate has a solid consumer marketing background and experience in growing a user base. He or she will not only develop the strategy but will also implement growth tactics to grow our user base and maintain engagement across all our platforms (Web, iOS and Android). We’re looking for someone to get creative with organic outreach and be diligent in how we spend our marketing dollars. This role will report directly to the CEO. To be successful, you should be a keen multitasker and who thrives in a competitive environment. Outstanding candidates have extensive marketing experience and are able to make decisions under pressure.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop branding and marketing strategies to make Nexme a well known brand in the real estate tech/prop tech space
  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness
  • Design and review the marketing budget
  • Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
  • Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO
  • Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
  • Track competitive landscape

We’re looking for teammates who have:

  • Proven work experience as a VP of Marketing, Marketing Director or other senior role
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Ad-words
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Growth mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions and thrive in ambiguity
  • BSc degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field and/or experience in the real estate tech/prop tech industry
